Anyone between the ages of 13–24 residing in Canada can participate. You can be a student, early-career professional, or aspiring entrepreneur. Some challenges may be best suited for specific age groups or experience levels, but everyone is welcome to apply.
Yes, you may participate in multiple challenges as long as you submit separate ideas and fulfill all requirements for each. Make sure to select the relevant challenges on the registration form.
No, all NFTE Innovation Challenges are completely free to enter. There are no hidden registration fees.
Yes! You can register as a team of up to 4 members. Please select “Team” on the form and provide the names of your teammates and your team name (optional).
No problem—individual participants are absolutely welcome! Many of our past winners have been solo applicants.
You must submit:
A brief project title and description
A presentation (PDF or PPT format)
A 2–3 minute video pitch (uploaded as an unlisted YouTube link)
Yes. You may register now and submit your project closer to the deadline. Just make sure to upload all required files before the final submission date.
Record your 2–3 minute pitch, upload it to YouTube, and set the visibility to Unlisted. Copy the link and paste it in the form under “Video Link.”
You’ll receive a confirmation email with your submitted details. You’ll also receive updates about the challenge, deadlines, and resources to help build your project.
Yes! All verified participants who submit their entries will receive an official digital certificate. Winners may also receive cash prizes, gift packs, or mentorship opportunities.

If you're under 18, yes. Your parent or guardian must fill out the permission section of the form and provide their contact details.
