Welcome to the NFTE Innovation Challenge website (the “Site”). By accessing or using our platform, registering for a challenge, purchasing products from our store, or using our LMS, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this Site, you confirm that:
- You are a resident of Canada.
- If under the age of majority, you have parental or guardian consent.
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our [Privacy Policy], and any additional rules related to specific services or competitions.
2. Challenge Participation
By registering for any NFTE Innovation Challenge, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information.
- Adhere to submission guidelines and deadlines.
- Comply with the age categories:
- Group A: 13–18 years old
- Group B: 19–24 years old
- Submit original work that does not infringe copyright or intellectual property.
- Allow NFTE and its partners to publicly recognize, showcase, or feature your submissions, with appropriate credit.
3. Parental Consent for Minors
Participants under the age of 18 must:
- Have verifiable parental/guardian consent for registration and video submission.
- Provide a parent or guardian’s contact information in the form.
4. Learning Management System (LMS) Access
- Access to LMS content is provided based on eligibility or purchase.
- Course material is for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Sharing login credentials or copying content is prohibited.
5. E-Commerce & Store Purchases
- We offer branded merchandise including apparel and stationery.
- All prices are in CAD and include applicable taxes.
- Orders are subject to product availability.
- Shipping, returns, and refund policies are detailed on our [Shop Policy Page].
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Site, including logos, text, images, videos, and software, is owned or licensed by NFTE Innovation Challenge.
- You may not reuse or reproduce any content without permission.
7. User-Generated Content
By submitting content (videos, documents, etc.), you:
- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and share the content.
- Confirm you have the rights to the content you submit.
- Agree to the public display of your submission during the evaluation and recognition phases.
8. Limitation of Liability
NFTE Innovation Challenge, its organizers, and partners are not liable for:
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content.
- Delays or technical issues in submissions.
- Loss or damage resulting from participation, browsing, or using the Site or LMS.
9. Disqualification & Suspension
We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who:
- Submits plagiarized or offensive content.
- Violates the rules of the challenge.
- Misuses platform features or engages in fraudulent activities.
10. Modification of Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
